Infrastructure for the work

1. "Dgroups/groups/poolB10" served as a platform for shaping the pool, and for sharing of pictures, press releases, announcements and sound files among participants in the Pool once the 49th CSW session started. It was designed and moderated by FIRE originally, and then by the coordinator of the WMP.

2. "www.womensmediapool.org" served as an information clearinghouse for all audiences of the WMP with links to and from pages of WMP members. It was designed and "mistressed" by FIRE.

3. A room with 10 computers is on the Third Floor of the UN building where the CSW meeting will take place and will be available for those who registered as press. Also there are areas in the UN building that have a wireless connection, so that those who have wireless hookups were able to work there with our laptops. Arrangements were coordinated by the WMP with Renata Slavicolundu of UNDPI.
CIMAC, GIRE, FIRE, Consortium and Planetwire in the WMP
used that workspace for their coverage.

4. The IWTC provided the office space and telephone lines during working hours, where the WMP had one internet connection and a phone line.

5. Cyberdialogues had an office at UNIFEM.

6. Feed for the March 8 broadcast by WIN AMARC with the World March of Women took place at the FIREPLACE that day.

7. The daily webcast by FIRE`s took place at the IWTC.

8. APWW had office space for their productions at the IWTC

9. APC WNSP efforts also took place at the IWTC.

10. Three meetings of the WMP took place, organized by the IWTC with an agenda that included the lobby efforts for section "J" of the PFA, coordinated by the IWTC.
